Duration: 07 Days / 06 Nights

Day 01: Arrival in the city and accommodation at Earl’s Regency Hotel, Kandy. You can visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic at night. The night can also be used to witness the cultural show.

Day 02: The next morning you can take the city tour of Kandy which was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. Kandy is a splendid city and is known for its rich past, grandeur, folklore, mystery, and traditions.

There are also some botanical gardens in Peradeniya that are the big attraction. Here one can have the opportunity to see more than 4000 species of plants and this place is surrounded by the Mahaweli river.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya, which is known as the heart of Sri Lanka, this place can be visited in the morning. Srilanka produces approximately 50% of the best tea in the world. Srilanka’s highest mountain, Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the best golf courses in the country, which has around 18 holes. Must visit Galway Forest Lodge / Tea Factory for lunch.

Day 04: On the fourth day you can move to Sita Eliya and then one can move to Hambantota to enjoy lunch. The Bundala National Park attracts a large number of people who can be seen by renting a jeep safari. This is one of the largest national parks in the country. Bundala is home to some of the wild beasts like wild boars, elephants, wild buffalo, deer, crocodiles, the birds are also found here in great numbers. Oasis Hotel / Rosen Hotel, Hambantota are good places to stay overnight here.

Day 05: The next morning, after breakfast, you can take a tour of Galle City, which has been an important port of Ceylon. Galle is known for its handmade lace, turtle shell and elephant ebony.

Day 06: After breakfast you can spend some leisure time on the beach. Later, proceed to Colombo to spend the night at the Grand Oriental / Taj Samudra hotel, Colombo.

Day 07: On the seventh day you can take a city tour of Colombo. There are several places that can be visited such as the old parliament, the BMICH (Bandaranaike International Memorial Conference Hall) and the old fort. You can also go to the ceramics corporation showroom, fashion house, odel unlimited clothing boutique, and the city’s majestic shopping complex. In the afternoon you can head to the airport for departure.
