How to be your own best friend!

I find that most girls are always rushing from one activity to another and usually don’t get a chance to spend time alone. They don’t realize that friends can’t always be around to hang out. Your mom can’t always take you to the mall and go shopping. Sometimes they are alone, and that’s okay. Alone time can be a great time, it’s actually a gift. When you are alone, you can do whatever you want. Well almost. Check out my solo dos and don’ts to see if you’re making the most of your alone time!

MAKE!

-Go to a museum, snack shop, or any other place you would go with a friend. Just because you’re alone doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the activities you do with other people. The experience will be different, but it will still be fun.

– Pamper yourself. Get a pedicure or take a long bath. This is the time to pamper yourself!

-Take a long walk. Accompanied by your own thoughts, this is a great way to get some exercise and catch up on yourself.

WHOSE!

Pitch did it. Don’t get mad at your family or friends who might have canceled plans.

-Sit on the couch for a TV marathon. Being alone is not an excuse to be unplugged for countless hours.

-Mark yourself in a frenzy. You don’t need to call everyone on your cell phone to pass the time. He hangs up the phone and strikes up a conversation with one of the coolest people you know: you!
