The results of these past elections proved once again that Democrats had a golden opportunity to capitalize on the failures of the Trump presidency, but they did not reach a national term. A mandate for sixteen the glove of the progressive movement that Senator Sanders brought down just over four years ago. The opportunities were there from the beginning, even before the pandemic broke out. By failing to educate the public about the consequences of the continued congressional stalemate, conservatism, and what the Ten Articles of the Confederacy of National Economic Reform would do, it led to the results that are being produced today. More stalemate in Congress, more conservatism, and more suffering for millions of Americans are the direct consequences of the Democrats’ inability to communicate and educate the public. Educate the public about the need for a progressive agenda to lift the United States out of this pandemic and restore the health and vitality of this nation.

The DNC’s intention in this election was to focus solely on the Trump Administration. They failed to grasp the urgency of the times. They also failed to communicate with the public about the dire conditions that millions of people have been and still face even before the pandemic. The billions of dollars funneled into campaign coffers should have been used to inform the voting public that the creation of a unified coalition would bring about radical reforms that are so desperately needed. The reality of what happened in a year and a half of political campaigning for those billions of dollars only generated more animosity and division that polarized one extreme over the other.

One may recall that in 1992 Ross Perot used his own funds to appear on national television to educate the public about the dire ramifications of not addressing our national debt. That same approach should have been used during this election cycle. Using the medium of television to communicate and educate the public is the most effective way to communicate and educate the public. If the Biden campaign and the DNC had used their resources in this way, the results we are seeing today would not have created the potential for further stagnation in our government. The opportunity was there to educate the public on security protocols during the siege of this pandemic and how the Ten Articles of the Confederacy of National Economic Reform provide the necessary progressive reforms that will propel the United States out of the debt abyss and They will restore our economy. Restoring our economy so that all Americans have the means and availability of financial and economic security.

The failure of the Democratic party since 2016 has been recruiting a presidential candidate that many considered questionable and more conservative signs that today’s results have not met the results desired by the Democratic party. Then again? By failing to fully communicate and educate the public about the merits of a unified progressive platform, America has been paralyzed in our greatest divisions since the Civil War. This writers’ endorsement of Senator Bernie Sanders is well documented. Since 2015 it has laid the foundation for progressive reforms. It also has the foundations on which these reforms can bear fruit, as they say. But what did the DNC do? They deliberately went to great lengths to design a candidate that was more in tune with the DNC status quo. They failed to reach out to the public to educate all of us on the ways our lives would be best served with a progressive agenda that was the benchmark of Senators Sanders’ presidential campaign and his Our Revolution movement. And so there is still no progress in creating a less toxic environment in Washington and across the country.
