With the release of Microsoft’s new “Kinect” add-on for Xbox 360 comes a range of interactive games and fitness programs that far exceed anything previously available.

Much has been written about Kinect and most of it has been extremely positive. Here I would like to give you a review of Kinect Sports.

Kinect Sports.

With Kinect Sports you can turn your own living room into a fabulous sports arena with track and field events, a soccer field, and even a bowling alley. The good thing is that whatever sport you play, you are the star! There is also boxing, volleyball and table tennis.

Now this is nothing like previous systems. With Kinect you can even apply topspin.

It is very fun and intuitive, ideal for parties and family gatherings. Whether you’re after the winning goal of getting beat up in the ring is up to you and even as a viewer, it’s hugely entertaining.

There are a total of six individual and team sports: beach volleyball, table tennis, soccer, boxing, track and field, and bowling. Each game presents new challenges. It’s really quick and easy to jump right into the game as it’s so intuitive.

Solo sports.

There are several single player games with various levels of play for all ages that encourage and challenge all skill sets. Switch to party mode and compete against a friend or form a tag team and drop in and out to get the best out of your team.

“Kinect Sports” puts your own avatar in the spotlight so you can live the dream of world-class athletes and sports stars. With that, of course, comes the attention of the press and praise from his teammates. You can even decorate your avatar with awards and medals for your victories.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that it is the most fun I have ever had with an Xbox. The whole family was hysterical. I highly recommend Xbox 360 kinetic games and definitely kinect sports.
