WOTLK Gold Farming Secrets – Make Gold Fast at WOLTK

World of Warcraft’s latest expansion WOTLK (Wrath of the Lich King) offers plenty of new opportunities to make lots of gold. A quick note if you are a professions person, you must be level 350 in your professions to mine/disenchant/gather herbs/fur etc. in Northrend starting zones.

Like the previous ways of earning money in the game, they still apply in Northrend on a larger scale.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, things cost a lot more in the game. From cloth to armor, it seems that the price of everything has gone up drastically, this is due to the fact that more gold is made in WOTLK faster and easier.

Gold Farming at WOLTK consists of the three basic ways to generate gold.

1. Play the auction house

2. Farm by killing Mobs (this includes some professions like skinning, cooking, enchanting to disenchant).

3. Cultivate your gathering professions (such as mining and herbalism).

I really hate ONLY mining or herb gathering, so I highly recommend herbalism or mining along with skinning as professions (and definitely cooking as a secondary).

This way, when you kill animals, you can skin them for leather, which always sells well in AH and those animals can drop meat for cooking, which also has a daily quest for easy money, and the benefits of cooking lovers are worth the sorrow. It does not matter that.

This way, when you’re looking to level up in Northrend or you’re 80 years old and just farming gold, you’ll be making the most of your time.
