Systemic candidiasis is an infection that is on the rise and that year after year affects an increasing number of people. The condition is an infection that affects many people without their realizing it, and they don’t know they have it until it’s too late. Doctors have a hard time diagnosing this condition, as symptoms tend to vary from person to person. Because there are really no set symptoms for this condition, there is no way for doctors to diagnose it in its early stages.

There is a wide range of symptoms that are commonly associated with this infection. Systemic candidiasis is commonly known as a yeast infection that affects the intestines. Associated symptoms include problems with the gastrointestinal system such as intestinal cramps, heartburn, constipation, chronic diarrhea, gas, or bloating. Other associated symptoms include chronic fatigue and this is especially after consuming food, depression, reduced concentration levels, poor memory, rectal itching, muscle aches and allergies including both air and food related.

Other common related symptoms include impotence, prostatitis, memory loss, feeling faint and dizzy after eating certain foods, severe PMS, joint pain, acne, irritability, and recurrent vaginal or urinary infections. All of the above symptoms can occur as part of the fungal type of candida, as this fungus can perforate the intestinal wall and allow toxins to leak out and enter the bloodstream.

Once the toxins have escaped into the bloodstream, they basically begin to poison the intestinal organs, including the liver and brain. The liver will be put under pressure due to the volume of toxins being carried throughout the body. Normally, when someone realizes that their body is suffering from systemic candidiasis, they usually don’t feel well. Once you have systemic yeast infection, it’s a long road to recovery and getting back to some kind of normal health.

Food allergies tend to be another common problem, occurring as a result of food particles entering the bloodstream. In these cases, it is again very difficult to diagnose and it is also a very long road to recovery. In most cases, the only way to recover is to avoid the food that caused the problem in the first place.

Candida diets are really the first step to getting back to a normal life and this should be combined with an antifungal program. It is very common that both diets are also accompanied by a probiotic supplement. In some cases the patient only has to follow these programs for a couple of months. However, in some cases people have to follow them for a year or even several years.

Systemic candidiasis is not impossible to treat, but it does require a lot of very hard work and also an immense amount of dedication. If you can follow these plans and stick to them, your health will see positive benefits and eventually begin to return to normal health.
