ONLINE MARKETING – An industry FULL of empty promises!

This morning I woke up, went to my computer to check email and found 234, YES two hundred and thirty four emails of which 227 had to be deleted! Imagine, overnight my email inboxes (Yahoo and Gmail not including my staff) were filled with false promises, lies, misleading advertising and most of all, hope for a brighter and more successful future! Tell me why, if a salesperson makes $47,000 per month, would I get an email telling me that he could do the same if I signed up for his program? Is $47,000 a month enough to “get by” in this economy? Or is he just trying to get ME to donate to his cause so he can actually earn that $47,000 per month? I jotted down some of the passages in these emails that I thought were amazing: advertising on autopilot, make $998 in TWO days, join this foolproof system, $22,000 a month in 90 days, no work, no expenses to make $gazillion in three hours, free traffic, explode your downline, get ranked NUMBER ONE on Google in 7 minutes and much more. Listen enough? Well, I can tell you that I certainly have.

Who do you believe? What do you think? How can you really make money online? It is not as difficult as one would think. Follow the guys who have actually made a lot of money, expect to learn a lot, and spend time doing it every day. You don’t have time, you say. Are you too busy making a living? It is precisely for that “life” that you are trying to earn that you are here to begin with. You are not earning enough $$ to make life as carefree as possible. This is not a revelation (very few people have revelations these days). I am, perhaps, biting the hand that feeds me with this article BUT most people are not stupid and these thoughts are the same that you have had, but you are afraid to believe.

We all prefer to think that it will be easy to create $ from a system that promises the world. Unfortunately, very few of us are successful online! This is an industry that, like all others, requires work, knowledge, time, and money to succeed!

Earlier I mentioned that you should “follow the guys who have actually made a lot of money”. When you get an email from Mike Dillard, Mike Klingler, Eben Pagan, Frank Kern, Ann Sieg, Jonathan Budd, Ty Tribble, and more that I didn’t mention, pay attention and read the email. They use concrete theories and testimonials and align themselves with good, solid products and people! Follow his example! Stay focused, weigh each program with due diligence, and don’t succumb to hype. Growing a business in online marketing takes a long time, and there are no get-rich-quick programs. Building a list is crucial and NOT that easy. You should offer free “stuff” to entice people to give you email addresses. It’s NOT as simple as $22,000 a month in seven days! Think, act responsibly and work hard to get your share of the Internet pie with a well-known, stable and honest program!
