It is to be expected that AOL Texas Hold Em poker is quite a popular platform for poker. The reason is that since the game is part of a gigantic internet service and media company, you would expect it to have a large following.

At its peak, AOL had more than 30 million subscribers. One would expect with those numbers that his poker game would have millions upon thousands of players.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. AOL Texas Hold Em poker had no impact on the game. I’ll explain why in a minute, but first I’ll explain what it is.

AOL is home to one of the largest online communities in the world. Hopefully this would be a natural home for an online poker game. As a result of the great community, they have created poker rooms for their members and it is free to play.

You have the option to play No Limit or Limit Texas Hold Em. You can play in the single or multiplayer version. They have low stakes, high stakes, and super high stakes. They even have their own tournaments.

In theory, I would expect this to be very popular. However, that is far from the case. The problem is that very few players participate. For example, at the time of writing this article, only 72 players participate in the Limit room and 1.4370 in the No Limit room. Even the last number is not impressive.

The reason is that it is overshadowed by Bebo Texas Hold Em and Facebook Texas Hold Em. Both social networks have millions of players participating in their poker rooms. And at any given time you have millions of thousands, if not more than a million players participating. This makes AOL look like a peanut.

One of the reasons why social networks attract more players is because more people are connected to social networks. The days of AOL are outnumbered. People no longer participate in this online community and have chosen to be a part of Facebook.

Another reason for its small success is that some people say that the game is unrealistic. Some players claim that cheating is being done. For example, a common claim is that they would score bad hands, which is not mathematically possible in poker. It doesn’t seem to reflect reality.

If AOL’s Texas Hold Em poker wants to have a fighting chance against social media, it will have to update its software and provide perks and rewards to players. Maybe it would even be useful to have a poker tutorial.

However, if you really want to master your online poker and want to get to the point where you can win a lot of money, then an online community or social media is the place for you to play. You are not going to make money there.
