In this article, I’ll give you five tips for creating a profitable blog post. Why is it so important to create a good blog post that drives traffic to your blog? Can’t you just write whatever comes to mind and hope it grabs your potential customer’s attention?

Well, first of all, this is because there is a lot of information on the internet nowadays that is all hype. Hypes is basically a term for filler or useless content. People write and fill in the space to make it look like there is a lot of information in the post, but there may actually be only one sentence in the entire post that provides information.

If you’re constantly posting hype, then your blog won’t see a lot of traffic and you certainly won’t have a lot of followers. To eliminate this, here are some tips that, if followed, will result in a profitable blog post every time.

1. Write your posts as short and eloquent as possible. It has been said that if it takes a lot of words to explain something, it probably won’t be understood very well. Keep this point in mind at all times; you want your post to be short and sweet but informative.

2. Write your posts to cater to all kinds of readers. You should aim for your blog to be read by as many people as possible, so if it’s written for a college graduate reading level, then you’ve closed yourself off from a large potential audience.

3. Fill your post with meaningful information about the product, including specs, reviews, testimonials, etc.

4. Remember to include the price of the product you are promoting in the publication. There is nothing more annoying than when someone writes raves about a product and then when you get to the bottom they don’t even list how much it costs.

5. Don’t forget to include your Amazon affiliate link. You’ve worked so hard to create a blog and then write a post, the last thing you want to do is lose a sale. Get in the habit of always checking your blog posts to make sure the link is there and active.
