Women are starting new businesses in the US at breakneck speed, and the need for new women’s social media sites has increased significantly. Currently, only 16% of the total number of American small businesses is owned by women. A recent report published by The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute projects that small businesses owned by women will be responsible for creating a third of the 15.3 million new jobs projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for 2018. The Institute expects that female small business owners will create 5 million to 5.5 million new jobs in the US by 2018.

Wow, what is a good way for women to accelerate the growth of their own small business? Many find that joining a women’s social network can be a fantastic way to not only find the support of other working women, but also to network with people who can become potential investors, employees, friends, suppliers, and business partners. There really is no limit to the types of connections you can make within the new social networking sites for women.

Women across the country find themselves trapped in positions they cannot bear. In other words, “they are angry and they won’t take it anymore.” Because there are also more resources available to women wanting to start their own businesses than ever before, women are doing just that.
