A recent report published by The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute projects that small businesses owned by women will be responsible for creating a third of the 15.3 million new jobs projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for 2018. The Institute expects that female small business owners will create 5 million to 5.5 million new jobs in the US by 2018.
